Sandy’s next opponent is the winsome Charlie Laine, out to prove herself against the legendary champion. This time it is Sandy who is caught in an initial headlock that sends her crashing to the mat. Charlie maximizes her advantage by repeatedly kicking and stomping the veteran while she’s down. Bringing Sandy down with a clothesline, Charlie starts letting her over-confidence get the better of her and she quickly finds herself downed by a clothesline by Sandy. Not a mistake Charlie wishes to repeat, the smaller girl really gives big Sandy a run for her money in the first fall, despite having her bra torn away. Charlie’s attacks are relentless and she almost matches Sandy in doling out punishment. However, Sandy’s been through this many times and knows just how to knock the winds from Charlie’s sails. A sleeper hold crushes the fight out of Charlie and to Sandy goes the first fall. Despite some impressive, but regrettably short-lived rallies, this will be the first of many knockouts that poor Charlie will have to suffer.
